Well, late wake-up today and then went to school for RS meeting. Marissa lives in Holland! Mr Lau was all, "Erm well, Holland is not too far away, just a few countries away, yeah." xD
Went to daddy's office and the he brought me for dinner.
Came home and started feeling all sentimental and began reading through Baobi's blog archives. It brought back the good ol' memories of "Dude, you fugly!" and me ranting to Baobi about the reaper hanging over Dean in 'In My Time Of Dying'. Also! Memories of Marissa and I crashing Baobi's place after school and me watching The O.C. and Smallville simultaneously. Not really watching either because Marissa just called me at the bitchfight/scandal parts and Baobi and I just fastforwarded to the Jason Teague parts, watched a few seconds later, then went back and sighed at Jason's oh so hot face (:
And I found this! Chipmunks are so cute ;D
Also, Baobi's craze over metal and The Fray(:
And Baobi and Marissa's petition that I shall copy and paste here because it's tres meaningful(:
We , the Raffles GEPers of RGS, feel that it is greatly unfair that we are the only classes apart from the mainstream students that need to break up next year.
Generally, it takes nearly half a year to know someone really well and we barely even had the time to enjoy and cherish our moments as a class together. Maybe some might think that school is a place for learning and not for friendship but we beg to differ. If the school and teachers greatly encourage us to form strong bonds, why break us all up after a mere year of friendship?
Studying in a class where you do not know people well is very difficult and one's state of mine and also general performance can be altered drastically due to unhappiness and discomfort with a new batch of girls who might have already formed their "cliques". This might lead to extreme loneliness. It might be true that strong friendships can be sustained no matter what the case, but spending half your life in class where you do not fit in or enjoy yourslef will be horrible and seeing your old buddies during recess or lunch can no way make up for it, leading to strained relationships in general.
If those studying in the mainstream get to enjoy one more year with their classmates, why should we be deprived of that privilege?
The Meep! saga! Merde! Wee!Tard! The vuderful vocabulary of 113`06ers(:
Well, on to Marissa's blog! &I'll be back soon to reminisce.
Remember me when I am gone away, Gone faraway into the silent land; When you can no more hold me by the hand, Nor I halfturn to go yet turning stay.
