The photographs are not with me! Bawls! So I shall talk in words only.

Second last day in Osaka, Japan, was spent busting my mum's credit limit and being pissed at her for buying ugly bags. Yes, she knew I didn't like them the least bit but she said she likes them. What could I do?! She's the one with the credit card. And so I took advantage of that and bought my 8000+++yen (approx. 100+++SGD) bag for school next year that is so cute because it has like things typical of NYC printed on it :D like this adorable "No Parking" sign that I will take a photograph of and upload it (eventually)

Yes sister I didn't shop as much as you. But you're a bloody shopaholic you bugga! :D

I got adorable heels that are just so adorable! And lots of candy. Like many many. Which by the time I touched down in Singapore was just simply many. Because I bought duplicates of nearly everything and I ate those that belonged to me(: So sorry Baobi no Meiji chocolates for you because I ate those heh. I'm sorry but the variety of the Kit Kat and Meiji chocolates are amaazziinngg! I have chestnut Kit Kats yo. That's so freaking awesome.

I got a cute top and this poncho-hoodie that my sis has been wearing. I want it for Love Me Hate Me Kill Me Now tomorrow!! And the house is still screwed up. The new washing machine won't turn off. My towel is missing. And my table which was almost empty before I left for Japan is now cluttered with dear sis' stuff. My nice jeans are in the wash. On the bright side, after looking at the Levi's jeans that fit me so well in Japan but I was forbidden to buy them, my mum says that maybe she'll buy me jeans that are 3 digits if they fit me really well. However because I'm such a thrifty person (yes I am), I probably won't :D

I tried to persuade daddy to buy me an iPod Touch throughout the trip but he just kept whacking me on the head/hitting me on the head with the Shinbun Times or something. Gosh. And I need a new phone! My plan has expired so does anyone have any suggestions regarding my new phone? Please do tell me I don't know where to start!

I miss Japan all of a sudden. But it feels great because I'm seeing and once again smsing Baobi like shit. Ohaha.

Just to clear the air, I now have 6 copies of Viva La Cobra:
    Me - 1
    Baobi - 1
    Marissa - 1
    Sipei - 3

So please don't kick my sass, Baobi! :D I'm so sorry that I can't treat the 3 of you for your copies because my daddy says no so I'll tell you how much it costs when my dad gets his credit card bill soon after I return to Singapore kay?

Yi-Min my sweetie pie! I'm in Osaka! Which part of Japan are you in?

Jiun dearest, I didn't get to go to Mount Fuji in the end because it was too far!): But that is very funny!

Have I ever mentioned how much the selection of CDs in Japan kicks Singapore's ass?
In the above picture, you see Orson's Culture Vulture, Joshua Radin's We Were Here and, (let's zoom in)

Cobra Starship's iViva La Cobra! !!!!!!!!!
(Yi Ci said that this post would include lots of capital letters and exclamation marks HA it's just the latter :)) And! I'm not going to open any of them until I get back to Singapore because I just can't bring myself to open them on foreign soil! I must make them feel comfortable at home((:

Updates on me, I got a sprained neck from riding this (points below) bloody rollercoaster.

And may I just say congratulations to this year's batch of PSLE students because the bunch of you did very well as I can gather from this article. And may I also say that in the future, I am so going to read Shakespeare and play Bach and Mozart for my baby when he/she is still in my womb so that he/she can get a very pretty score of 300 for his/her PSLE. Darling, I was reading at 2 plus too! (I think.)

Go figure. Disneyland@Tokyo. Universal Studios@Osaka in 2 days. Huzzah.

IT WAS TOO BIG. LIKE SRSLY DON'T THEY HAVE SIZES?!?! I'M PETITE!!!

And so I am going to go and watch tv shows now because the rents are out with the Lo family eating sushi and I dislike raw fish to a great extent. Ta!

    XOXO Missing you people muchly,
    Ruifen :D

    Hello ev-er-ree-buh-dee(:

Well sis went back to Singapore today because she has to work, bringing with her my nice poncho-hoodie from Harajuku so I can't wear it to Osaka boohoo! It's 2am here in Tokyo now and the weather is comparable to a lady on PMS, moodswings and all. It was farking cold on Monday at Disneyland and apparently it snowed in Hokkaido. The weather was not cold today at all so sis' nice thick winter jacket just made me feel really hot.

We're taking the bullet train to Osaka when we go to Osaka! Whee so fun! :D

Shopping was fantastic with sis and Claire and Cherie because they brought us to the nice places(: I have yet to go to Shibuya though because of time constraints): But sis and Claire brought Cherie and I to Harajuku! And Hello Kitty Land was a bore.

Now I'm tired so I think I'm going to hit the sack now(: I'll try to update photos the next time I blog!

XOXO I'm missing you people muchly here!

    Saturday, November 17, 2007

And so I'm at the airport using the free internet(: Am boarding in about 1 hour. Baobi and I have been smsing each other for the past 2 hours plus plus to make up for the time that will be lost when I'm in Japan. My daddy just kept sighing and saying that we should just pick up the phone and talk to each other.

So I'm leaving on a jet plane and returning on the 28th! I'll miss all of you and will very likely come back bearing gifts(: Snow from Mount Fuji, anyone? :D

We're bringing our laptop over and there's internet at the hotel, so my sis says so if you see me online, it'll be me online from Japan whee!

    Bye everyone! :D

    Friday, November 16, 2007

Introductions by Baobi to Heroes, Supernatural, Ugly Betty, Pushing Daisies, have made me so happy(:

My current new obssession is Pushing Daisies! It's so adorable! Ned is so geeky-cute-introverted-cute :D And his fashion sense is always there. Goodness, his skinny tie makes him look all the more cuter!

After OM meeting, Maryam and I went to eat lunch which followed with an impromtu decision to watch Starduse which was very nice(: Though there were some gaps which should be filled, it was awesome(:

And and and! Remy Iglesias the rat has been caught in one of the traps laid by the exterminator! I feel sad because I don't want Remy to die because it's just... wrong):

    And that concludes random rant(:

    Wednesday, November 14, 2007

    Thank you(:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3sXumT53Yfc
Aha! Baobi finally told me who sang this song! It's the original if I'm not wrong, without Timbaland's involvement in it.

Thank you(: for making life at home happy and always protecting and looking after me!

Ahaha so my sis is in Japan now and she's telling me that it's not all that cold there. She's suggesting that I bring more tanks and short sleeves than long sleeves. So I'll do just that, with a couple of long sleeves to back me up.

Well, just 2 people that I want to thank for now for making my holidays more bearable :D

    ;12:23 AM

    Monday, November 12, 2007

And so I am leaving on Saturday. To the happy happy Land of the Rising Sun Japaaaannn! :D
My flight is possibly at the same time as Baobi except in different terminals (I like SIA I'm sorry!).
I feel like changing my blog. To wordpress/xanga/livejournal. Once again, yes. I'm indecisive I'm sorry.

So today was spent with intimate interaction with Baobi's television. All you sick-minded people go wash your brains with Dettol. More than 7 hours was spent at Baobi's house. Watched Kyle XY until I wanted to kiss the television screen and shed a few tears for the season finale because Kyle is just so damn adorable. Then went to (finally) watch "Red Sky At Morning" because the video screwed up on my computer yesterday.

In between, the thunderstorm somehow hit and cut off the power source so we had to television (boohoo). So we ran to 7/11 without an umbrella because Baobi somehow couldn't find an umbrella. Got drenched and upon returning home, Baobi's dad insisted I wear one of her shirts. Cute shirt that fits though it was slightly baggy! Awesome...(:

And I realise that I should stop going to town when going out with friends. Anyone up to go shopping at anywhere other than town? I'm kind of sick of Bugis so that narrows it down to erm... Haji Lane/Telok Ayer/WHEREVER LAH. :D

Internet celebrities are the rave, dude.

Even though I know it's rather cliched to be doing this because tonnes of people have already done so, I officially declare that I like thesartorialist.blogspot.com. Most of the people in there are true fashionistas, daring to dress well, daringly. I salute you.

Also frankly I feel that though he does dig up some interesting dirt on celebrities, Perez Hilton is kind of irritating.

And since I am on the topic of celebrities, after reading a couple of interesting gossip sites today, (yes I was kind of bored) there is 1 word to describe my reaction to some of the news that have been making their rounds around the gossip circle - shock. Goodness gracious me!
McFly burning their pubic hair during a concert? Amy Winehouse's hubby arrested on the charges of something not related to drug charges? (Maybe he's quit because that's fantastic :)) John Krasinski looks funny as a basketballer. Oh yes and... TV PRODUCERS PLEASE PAY YOUR WRITERS MORE! I don't like them going on strike anymore though it was entertaining at first to try to imagine Jay Leno on a Harley Davidson delivering doughnuts to the strikers but IT'S NOT GETTING ANY FUNNIER BY THE DAY! Sigh.

Where was I? Right back to celebrities. (credits to various website :)) Britney continues to do things that will just allow her to not get back her kids ever. Surprise surprise. And have I ever mentioned the Bai Ling is kind of irritating? I mean, honey, please do try to dress properly unless you want to go in history as the worst/outrageously-dressed celebrity! Anyway I'm sick of trawling through the sites again to recount to you so I'm stopping.

Sidereel has also become my best friend. Finally! A site that can load on my computer and not screw up most of the time. It turns out that the Internet doesn't hate me all that much!

    ;10:58 PM
Anyway, hell's bells! There is a fucking rat in our house. I don't get it. Our house is newly-renovated. Yknow, new clean tiles, new clean wardrobes, etc. And how the hell does a rat get in?! With the help of dear Baobi, I have named it Remy Iglesias. Baobi is a a genius and darling why the hell aren't you doing CAP! Anyway, Remy ran over my sis' foot just now and we ran out of the kitchen with me immediately heading for the nearest chair. My sis just stood in the doorway of the kitchen, extremely pissed off and ready to kill someone. Lots of screaming ensued and I got a headache from the screaming. Gosh, my mum has got to stop screaming.

And now Remy is still somewhere in either the backyard or the kitchen. Well done, Remy. You have succeeded in scaring the entire family except my brother who is currently in camp and insists that we should kick Remy.

OH fantastic! In the middle of "Red Sky At Morning" the video screws up and I am left to wonder why an old lady would rather flirt with Sam than Dean. I think it's his boyish looks. But still, Dean looks hotter in a suit though Sam looks really tall in one.

Kyle XY at Baobi's place tomorrow and then I'm going to watch and laugh at my sister while she does her job and conducts a workshop for primary school kids at the museum tomorrow. (: Supposedly the last workshop for the year. She's going to university next year I'll miss you, bitch! :) I think I'll die without her or my brother around. My parents are going slightly deranged.

my itunes and youtube are a ringing, dear.
    orson/sean/paula/crowned king

Party was pretty fun though my camera failed me so Yi-Min's camera contains my photos(:
Turned red in the face and everyone in my family hates me for that except my mum who doesn't know.  Caps are useful to hide faces I swear.
The beach had cockroaches on the concrete thing!  It was creepy because in the dark all you see are dark things crawling D:
Due to my utter lack of knowledge on HTML, I don't think I will be switching to anything anytime soon.
I'm not going Bangkok!  Because I have OM and when I go to Bangkok Jingxian comes back from Taiwan so yeah.  I'm like really sad and my sis is pissed I'm sorry lah!  After uni can go with you kay?(:  Plus I'll be cooler after your uni stint so it'll be more fun(:  And I will probably have more money.
I'm thinking of asking daddy if he will buy me an itouch.
Ahahaha Miin's brother Jiim is really cute especially since we're the same height so defending him was real fun.  I can finally defend someone!  Yeah my defending sucks with tall people such that the only way I can prevent them from getting the ball is to hug them :D
Oh yes and Lim Yi-Min and Kristy Tian and Renee Lim stop saying someone's name!  I have no feelings already since we lost touch so HAH.  It's been 2 years for heaven's sake :D  Yi-Min I only have feelings for you!  Ahaha I bet you're really creeped out now.
And Bernice stop laughing at me when I wear leggings!  I'm self-conscious lah.
Ohgawd Baobi and Marissa bought capsicum, eggplant, caviar, cheese, lots and lots of marshmallows, and lots of weirdass foodstuffs from Paragon because they felt rich =.="  Srsly. But the eggplant was so cute(:
Tried learning to bike today!  Thank you everyone for your patience!  But I still fall off the bloody bike):  My left index toe has a chipped nail and my left big toe has cut.  Erks.
Photos sometime once darling e-man sends them over(:
    Ta.

    ;11:38 PM

    Thursday, November 08, 2007

I can't decide between blogger/xanga/livejournal/wordpress. I hate myself for being a html idiot. OM meeting today then decided against asking people out because it's a public holiday and family day for most people, except mine of course. Alone at home, aside from an unconscious brother in his room. My phone bill last month was utter crap because I somehow chalked it up to 72$ which is a lot for me okay.

While I wait, and I remember the sound,
    Of your November downtown.

I realise that sometimes reading and reflecting on the past is a very nice thing to do. Leadership camp taught me the importance of reflecting. So I went back and read a couple of my old blog entries and it was wonderful to realise that I've matured from my primary school days (I think).

Grongy's/Hui's/Miin's birthday party tomorrow and Baobi's not very happy with the sex ratio :D but what the hey. I'll get their presents from Japan. Speaking of which, I'm oh so very excited with my Japan trip yay yay yay! I may be going to Bangkok with my sister and aunt for a shopping trip(: My dad just doesn't want us to make him bankrupt :D

Yknow I realise that maybe I haven't been appreciating the people around me enough. Thank you Baobi for always being there for me and her adorable family for letting me stay at her place when times got rough; Wanhui for being such a fantastic listening ear, nice warm hugs and gracious host when I had to bunk with you when the house was under renovation; Marissa for letting me hug her when I'm really sad and not saying anything while I hug her; Chewlin for always cheering me up when I'm down in the dumps and helping me; Sarah Alissa for talking to me on the phone and making my time at my gramma's house less boring, helping me whenever I get stressed out and not getting sufficient sleep at the same time; EVERYONE. Yes, I realise that I have so many wonderful friends and that I should not bother about the materialistic aspects of life.

I'm sorry I couldn't type out everyone's name because I am needed to bring up more boxes that my parents carted over from the storage area so until then ta(:

    Wednesday, November 07, 2007

    a. Thank you to everyone for tagging in my absence(:
Baobi, James Blunt is not hot. The goodbye my lover mv was filmed at universal studios I think. I recognise the sets(: I like both Mischa Barton and Matt Dallas so the 2 of you stop insulting the both of them! Humph :D
Kristy, it's okay! I love you! Plus I screwed up too.
Yes, Kevin the rubik's cube has no challenge. Which is why I have a rubik's pyramid that I do not play with(:

    b. I'm finally back from leadership camp :D
It was really fun! And there were so many photo opportunities and I am so happy that people were willing to camwhore take photographs with me(:

I could kill Jiya for suggesting we run but I guess I needed the exercise anyway. My mum says I lost weight and I've definitely become tanner after the camp(:
