I found Grace on facebook! She's yingyue's classmate in some classes in vietnam(: ohmygosh I'm so happy! I miss her(: I still remember last time when she was in this powerpuff craze while I was all dressed up and ready to go in barbie :D Must must hang out when she comes back to Singapore! She's real jealous I've got gabe's autograph wahaha.
Anyway, I've been really bored lately at my maternal gramma's house even though she's really nice and constantly feeding me. So tonight I decided to grab the opportunity to come over to my paternal gramma's house to edit the HSSRP proposal but Marissa and Baobi are brilliant so I'm at a loss. Sigh.
Toyed around with the camera functions last night and took many many photos but deleted many many photos.
Of course, there's always the reminiscing...
Good times when my dad loved his camera and I wore my underwear outside of my swimsuit(: And I did that piece of blowpaint artwork kay! I did it for my teacher who wanted a gift to give to a New Zealand school because she was going there for an exchange(:
And and and long overdue photographs coming up!

I know that this is rather last minute but still, sign the online petition now. It's for a fantatstic cause and I know you want to. Sign it by today 21 October 2007!
DISCLAIMER: I COPIED EVERYTHING FROM MY SISTER'S BLOG SO EVERYTHING HERE IS TYPED BY HER UNLESS STATED SO(:
The Penal Code of Singapore, in Section 377a, provides for a jail sentence for up to two years should a man be found to have committed an act of “gross indecency” with another man.
What right do we have to impose our views on what is right or wrong on others. We are multi-racial and meritocratic. We have became a nation tolerant of each other’s cultures and religions, yet doing this shows that we are unable to tolerate others sexual orientation. Ironic. I vaguely recall a speech by a local minister saying that the government will learn to be more accepting of homosexuals. Right.
Pro-gay or against injustice? You can say that I am both. Pro-gay to me means being accepting and tolerant of others who are different from me. Against injustice is what I have always stood for. So whichever stand you choose, do show your support. After all, this is our country and we should stand up for what we believe in.
I guess online petitions would generally be scoffed at. I know I used to. There was a recent article in the local newspaper where a reporter seemed rather dismissive of online petitions or facebook groups set up to garner support for various causes. But there are people who have put in time and effort to do up these sites (especially a stand-alone site like repeal377a.com), so the least we can do is show our support, especially if it is a cause that you feel strongly about.
Whatever it is, spead the message if you would like to gather support. If not, there are always plenty of other causes out there. I am sure you will find one that you care about. Feel free to volunteer your time and effort towards a worthy cause. I know I will in the future =)

10 October 2007 Straits Times Online campaign to repeal gay sex law By Chua Hian Hou
An online campaign urging the Government to repeal a law criminalising gay sex has collected more than 2,200 signatures since it started last Friday.
Most who have signed the open letter to Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong at www.repeal377a.com are anonymous, but at least 800 have stated what appears to be their real name and about 100 reveal where they work.
The site’s spokesman, Mr Alan Seah, 44, said the online letter was set up by ‘about 20 concerned individuals’ who felt the section of the law is ‘discriminatory and not good for Singapore’.
The former nightclub owner said the group comprised men and women in their 20s to 40s, both homosexuals and heterosexuals.
Under Section 377A of the Penal Code, it is a crime for men to have sex with each other, whether in public or in private.
In its latest Penal Code review, completed last month, the Government decided to keep the status quo on the gay sex law.
A Home Affairs Ministry spokesman said this recognised that Singapore is ‘a generally conservative society’, though the Government would not actively prosecute people under that section of the law.
Those signing the petition were encouraged to state their name, voting constituency, occupation and the company they work for.
While most chose to stay anonymous, many gave their name, stated what they work as and named their employer too.
The signatories range from multi-national company executives to engineers and teachers, as well as several arts personalities, people working in the media and civil society activists.
A 31-year-old Singaporean government scholar working in a statutory board told The Straits Times he is gay and does not expect any repercussions for revealing his name and his employer on the petition.
If there are, he said, ’so be it. I have enough credibility in my area of work that this would not be an issue’. He did not wish to be named in this report.
Research assistant Low Soo Mei, 25, said she signed because she felt sad that her homosexual friends should have to ‘live in fear that they can be prosecuted’.
Gay activist Alex Au said he was pleased with the response and applauded those who gave their name, but noted that online petitions do not have a track record for effectiveness.
Mr Seah found it understandable that most prefer to stay anonymous, although that hurts the campaign’s credibility.
The campaign is expected to get a boost from arts figures like Pamela Oei, Hossan Leong, Beatrice Chia and Mark Richmond, who are producing a rap song which will go onto video-sharing website YouTube within the next few days, said Mr Seah.
He said the petition will be taken offline on Oct 19, and the names of the signatories consolidated and sent to the Prime Minister’s Office.

And now I'm head over heels in love with them(:
I would upload more photographs but I left the memory card back at my maternal gramma's house so until the next time, you'll have to wait(: Post-exam. I'm absolutely confused by the timetables. Going to school not at the usual time feels good though(: I don't have to wake up blearily at 6am and grope around the room for the light switch heh. I'm trying out for OM! And HSSRP! No RS for me please! >< I have been suffering from tv depravation. Supernatural, The Hills, The O.C. (Where the fuckk are my season 2 dvds?! They're in some box at home and I have no idea which box) On the bright side, the house is nearly done. Lots of unpacking to do though. Sigh. And I found my posters! Brilliant! My new word-until-I-found-a-new-favourite-word is "Brilliant"(: I'm brilliant. I'm am jealous of Baobi's iPod Touch! Gimme gimme gimme! You turned me into the green-eyed monster! And and and I must work during the holidays and buy more clothes. I need drainpipes and plain tanks to layer and a vest and clothes. Lots more apparel. And Japan! Shopping in Japan! Gah I need to get winter clothes. So many of my friends are going to cold countries so they can't lend my their winter clothes! My sis is going to help me buy when she goes to Shanghai which will be after the Japan trip. But until then I'm stuck. Sigh. I think I'll just drag my father shopping one day with his bit of plastic heh. (:

Haven't posted in eons. I apologise but daddy hasn't installed the computer at home and I haven't even shifted home yet. Still staying at my maternal gramma's. Ohwell I've more or less gotten used to it although there are those times when I don't have my freedom yeah but I cope.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY WANHUI!
My darling darling Wanhui happy happy birthday! Sorry honey today wasn't really that special because the stupid rain prevented us from going to the botanical gardens and taking the dhl balloon. Watched "Balls Of Fury" with Marissa, Baobi and the birthday girl(: It was nice! And Wanhui and Marissa kept squealing that Maggie Q is hot. I decided to just keep saying that her legs are sexy. Maggie Q is freaking hot! And so is Eva Longaria. Gosh. I'm straight fyi.
Anyway anyway, gah! Just realised we didn't take photos! The only photos from today are of my sis and I camwhoring in the mirror in our room. Heh. I'm lazy to upload so I'll upload another day heh. We wore our brother's Atticus shirts today(: I'm so wonderful I wore my brother's shirt yesterday and we stole many of his polos yesterday(: Our new wardrobe is madeofawesome! Yes yes yes! Even though we didn't get our walk-in wardrobe we got a similar one(: I'll post photos soon. Sometime.
Post-exams aren't that exciting now that's it's here): Partly due to my inactive use of the computer and it's hari raya so it's difficult to drag people ourt. Sigh.
Okay I'm off(: Happy Birthday Wanhui honey! :D

Well I had to come to my paternal grandmother's house to research on history as due to everything in my house having been boxedup, I have no idea where my history textbook is! Thank you Julia for staying after school with me feverishly photocopying the important aspects of the chapters (i.e. almost the entire of all the chapters hehe). Thank you for the wonderful study sessions darlings(: many smses and ice caramel chocolates brighten up a person's life. Whipped cream whipped cream! Yes Wanhui I know I think too far! I'm far-sighted(:
I think I like HDB estates, not that I never liked them, but I ever really got to experience them properly): You can lie in your bed at night and listen to people arguing (the sweet sweet sounds of home), those prayer music that are actually rather soothing, the beeping of passing cars, and the simple irritating sounds of crickets. However, after living in the wonderful Tanjong Rhu for so long, I have gotten used to its sights and sounds too(: Lying in bed at night, you can here the occasional shrieks from the drunktards by the pool after their night of reveling (more often than not their by the pool about to fall in and pissing the guards off :)), the noise of passing sports cars which do not have mufflers on their exhaust pipes on the Benjamin Sheares, and of course my brother with his music on extremely loud. It's nice to have a change from time to time, you have to agree(: Just like how one day, just maybe one day, I will try a decaf.

Photographs from the camera coming up soon! One good thing about staying with grandmothers is that you get fed. A lot. I hope I'm not putting on weight aahh! EOIs are such a pain. Geography is overrr! A few thousand more papers up yeah. I hope the room will be nice when the house is done with the renovation! New wardrobe and new bed and hopefully new clothes whee! I can't wait for post-EOIs. Going out, and spending my entire month's allowance in a week. What fun. Good luck to everyone for your exams! :D
